February 2: World Wetlands Day

The Ramsar Wetlands Convention (Iran) created World Wetlands Day to allow local, national and international governments, as well as the general public, to organize celebrations in support of biodiversity and more specifically protecting wetlands and the rights connected to them. One of the goals of the day is to gain attention, raise awareness and mobilize resources to meet sustainable development goals.

Objectif Science
Science
La science est désormais l’affaire de tous. Découvrez la science d’une manière ludique et active. Nous vous proposons d’en découvrir plus sur nos expéditions à la voile, découverte du plancton.
International, an NGO which works closely with the United Nations, participates in the GENEVA FORUM in order to promote sustainable management of these natural places. The threat to wetlands impacts more than 40% of the animal and plant species that breed and live in these areas. The menace to wetlands by climate change, pollution, over-exploitation and the like, also threatens these species. It is only thanks to the international community’s strong cooperation that we will be able to continue protecting these areas and their biodiversity.
