March 1st: "Zero discrimination" Day

The UN General Assembly created "Zero Discrimination" Day to allow local, national and international governments, as well as the general public, to organize events in order to combat discrimination. Some of the objectives of the day are to gain attention, raise awareness and mobilize resources to meet sustainable development goals.

Objectif Sciences International, an NGO which works closely with the United Nations, participates in the GENEVA FORUM in order to highlight and assess the progress of anti-discrimination laws in order to restore the respect for and dignity of, as well as saving, human lives. Each year, too many victims of discrimination, whether employment related, within a religious community, a countrywide situation or in other activities, are not sufficiently protected and assisted with the recognition of their rights.

If you wish to attend or present a project at the Forum, please register under the “Inclusive Pedagogy” category by clicking on the following link: GENEVA FORUM Program
